With high levels of power and efficiency, the PRS-D1200M offers the best in digitally amplified audio.
The PRS-D1200 includes a Bass Boost, from which you can select a bass level of 0, 6, 9 or 12 dB. The amp also features a Subsonic Select Switch, which cuts inaudible frequencies below 20Hz to eliminate unwanted vibrations and minimise power loss.
The amp has gold-plated terminals; so you can easily hook up a sub to boost your audio performance – without any power distortion. It can also be linked with other amps in a ‘master-slave’ set-up. Adjustments that are made to the master amplifier are automatically made to all other connected slave amplifiers.
With an anti-resonance H-shaped chassis, the PRS-D1200M has a tight, compact design (which makes for easier installation), without compromising power output and audio quality levels. Installation can be as flexibile as you require; the top plate rotates 180 degrees to suite your mounting direction. Additionally, the speaker line input sensor automatically detects your speaker cables; meaning you can connect directly to the amplifier without a relay or other connections.
The PRS-D1200M shares the same linear technology op-amp (operational amplifier) as our DEH-P88RS-II reference CD tuner, making a perfect pairing for high quality sound.
